The National Wine Centre

The National Wine Centre is a non-profit organisation, whose objective is the promotion and support of wine and viticulture of the Czech Republic.

The National Wine Centre is situated in the historical premises of the Valtice chateau, which underwent reconstruction thanks to the project "DEVELOPMENT OF VITICULTURE IN SOUTH MORAVIA", realised at the turn of the 20th and 21st century with the financial support of the European Union (program PHARE) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. Another objective of this programme was the establishment of the non-profit organisation - The National Wine Centre. The town of Valtice is the centre of wine-growing and tourism in the region. It lays in a beautiful location called "the pearl of South Moravia" - the Lednice - Valtice Composed Landscape, listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage index.

The National Wine Centre during promotion and support closely cooperates with other wine-growing organisations, governmental and regional authorities in the Czech Republic.
