Statistics of grape varieties in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is characterised by a great variability of grape varieties. As of 2024, 76 grape varieties (white and blue varieties), 11 table varieties and 8 rootstock varieties were registered in the State Variety Register.
The most grown grape varieties in the Czech Republic, 31.12.2024
The most commonly grown grape varieties in 2024 were Veltliner Green, Riesling, Müller Thurgau and Welschriesling from the white varieties; Blaufränkisch, Saint Laurent, Pinot noir and Zweigeltrebe from the blue varieties.
