Description of wine:
This is a unique batch of wine coming from a newly planted vineyard, one that has not been treated with any chemicals, or even organic products. This is a harvest of two new PIWI varieties hand-picked together that were created from the Frankovka (Blaufränkisch) grape - Blaufränkisch Stella and Blaufränkisch Signum - which have been planted out on Triassic limey sandstone on the most elevated section of the renowned Bočky vineyard tract. The grapes fermented in open vats using autochthonous yeasts. The wine is soft, but at the same time refined. On the nose we have black fruit, predominantly elderberries, blueberries and blackcurrants and also dark cherries, so typical for Frankovka cultivar. As this is a maiden harvest the palate is lighter, but with a peppery and spicy finish which, alongside the tones of berry fruit, support the juciness and even lend a certain ferocity.
