Description of wine:
The lightly golden colour and the wine’s full and consistent character in the glass gives one the idea this is an excellent vintage. The fragrant liquid emits a sweetish nose of grapes, honey, linden flowers and dried apples and pears, which harmonise magnificently with the wine’s varietal expression. The palate is round, complex, fruity - initially ripe citrus fruit, then incoming yellow fruit. Mild residual sugar pleasingly counterbalances the acidity. The aftertaste is lengthy, slightly spiced, thanks to the rich extract. A great Riesling to the delight of the nose as well as of the taste buds. Huge potential for a lengthy maturation.
