Description of wine:
The grapes came from the village of Novosedly in the Mikulov wine sub-region, picked late and meeting the specification for special selection of berries. Both nose and palate are very pronounced and multi-layered, opening with tones of honey, dried apricots and crystallised citrus fruit, which progressively mingles with a soft mesh of sultana raisins and floral pollen. The maturation on the lees has given the wine its creamy character. In the mouth it is well-rounded and lusciously sweet, while at the same time, thanks to its lively acidity, it is poised and lively. The saline minerality, so typical for Welschriesling, lends a certain elegance to the wine.
